Hi!
I'm Melanie (AKA Melegie), a harpist, singer, and creative based in Boston, Massachusetts. I create music that blends the ancient and the imaginative, from Renaissance tunes, medieval melodies, Celtic ballads, colonial-era songs to whimsical video game covers and fantasy-inspired themes!

You’ll find me performing at Renaissance faires, galas, steampunk festivals, and weddings, always tailoring my set to suit the world I'm stepping into. I’ve even performed colonial music at the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum! Every performance is thoughtfully curated to match the theme and atmosphere — whether medieval, magical, or something entirely out of time.

One of my deepest passions is reviving old music from illuminated manuscripts, mensural notation, ancient tablets, and more. I study these historical sources and bring them back to life as accurately as possible.

Beyond the harp, I’m also a graphic designer and illustrator, with a bachelor’s degree from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. I live with my two Siberian forest cats, Figaro and Jupiter, who occasionally make surprise appearances in my videos!

Follow along on Instagram and YouTube, and be sure to check out my album, “Lore of the Celtic Enchantress” on Spotify, Apple, and Amazon Music. If you’d like to follow me on my music and creative journey, follow my Patreon for exclusive content, sneak peeks, and magical gifts shared only with patrons!
